What are our Selection Techniques?
The Interview
 


The first step in our selection process is having deep interviews with the prospects. Next to gathering information on education, formation and professional experience, these interviews aim to identify the qualities, motivation, career possibilities and personality of the candidate.

Psychological Testing
 


The tests used by Van Asbrouck Recruitment can provide more detailed information about a person's abilities and characteristics. The test results are discussed with the candidates in a personal interview. By courtesy of the applicant, the test results are included with the report presented to the client.

Assessment
 
An assessment tests places a candidate in a situation which imitates reality. By means of a simulation game, specific skills can be measured. Role-plays and individual or group exercises put the candidate in different relevant situations. Our consultants (preferably together with a representative of the client's company) judge to what extent the skills of a candidate are compatible with the specific skills desirable for the role.
